Join us for a hunt, hilltop, or untimed pleasure ride through 8.5 miles of the gorgeous trails at Wethersfield. English & Western riders welcome. All jumps will have go-arounds. This year, there will be approximately 80 jumps, including many of our cross country schooling jumps which will be part of the pace. For the hunt & hilltop rides, first team will be out at 9 AM & last team out at 12:00 PM. This event will be held rain or shine. Teams will go out on a first-come first-served basis. There are no set start times. Teams can be of mixed disciplines & ages, but there must be no more than 3 riders per team. Pleasure rides will begin at 12:00 noon & the last riders out no later than 1:30 pm. An average of all times will determine the winning time. First through 8th place ribbons will be given in both the hunt & hilltop divisions.

This year again, first prize for the hunt division is $500.00!  First prize for the illtopper division will be season passes to Wethersfield, valued at $275.00 each.  Second place prizes will be provided by Manning Saddle Restoration.

We are the first pace in the season for the Hudson Valley Pace Series, so come & join us & accumulate your points. Email HVPaceSeries@aol.com if you have questions on the pace series itself.

As we have done for the past 8 years, this pace will benefit Comfort Zone Camp. Comfort Zone Camp is the nation's largest bereavement camp. Comfort Zone Camps are offered free of charge to children ages 7-17 who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or primary caregiver. The camps are held year-round in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey & Virginia. Comfort Zone Camps create an environment where grieving children can have fun & break the isolation death often brings, while learning valuable coping skills for their daily lives. Comfort Zone also hosts grief support groups for adults & children throughout the year, providing a network of support for the whole family. For more information, visit them at http://www.comfortzonecamp.org/.
If you are unable to come out & support this event, please go to the above web site & click on the red "Donate" button. Then under "Honoree Information", click the button "In memory of" & type in or "Kevin T. Malloy". Wethersfield's Estate Manager's family is one of many that have benefited from this organization. Proceeds from this event will help send more grieving children to Comfort Zone Camp.
Helmets are mandatory when mounted. You must provide proof of negative coggins within 2 years of the day of the event. Do not mail coggins. Water is now available nearby the trailer parking. ABSOLUTELY NO DOGS WILL BE ALLOWED!
